In a recent report released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the flu vaccine remains the top culprit for causing vaccine injury. Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a crippling neurological disease, remains the top flu shot injury being awarded compensation in the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.
The recent report shows that from 11/16/2013 through 2/15/2014, there were 128 total cases filed in the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program and 52 cases were compensated. 40 judgments adopted settlements and they are listed by vaccine and injury.
